Volunteer Opportunities

Help Build Community

Sydenham Lake Canoe Club has many opportunities open to people of all ages and area of skill interested in working alongside our club.  We are always in need of volunteers to help with fundraising, experienced and knowledge to support program planning or interested individuals on our Board of Directors. Some of our volunteer positions include maintenance around the club and repairing composite boats.

We engage teen volunteers age 13-15 to assist with our camp programs, called our Leaders In Training (L.I.T.)s. They will work under SLCC's Program Coordinator and mentor counsellors to gain essential work experience and confidence in a safe and supportive work environment.
